WriterWednesdays: Dr. Seuss

Oh, Theodor Seuss Geisel.

The boyfriend loves Dr. Seuss, (specifically The Butter Battle Book), and so do I. I’ve always been partial to One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish myself. I wrote a story once for the Young Author’s Conference called Have a Very Harley Christmas (I was in elementary school) and I did my best to imitate Dr. Seuss. I remember reading it out loud at the conference and feeling like I was such a success! I was an author! (Kids, am I right? Still have that idealistic notion that anything is possible. Lucky little boogers.)

So, I originally thought I would find the bestest and most inspirational quotes from Theo and throw them on this post and then everyone would read it and somehow make it through the holidays. (No thank you necessary, just doing my civil blogging duty.)

But then I found this: 37 Dr. Seuss Quotes That Can Change the World and I realized- that’s already been done!

How shocking, since (almost) everyone loves Dr. Seuss!

For your reading ease, I’ll put four on this post, just in case you don’t want to click that link up there. But they all came from here.

And a bonus: Because, when I was little, I printed this quote out (using Comic Sans font, of course) and it was taped on my bedroom door until I was in middle school.
