My fitness journey reads just like everyone else’s: It’s a struggle, day in and day out. I tend to tell people that my biggest problem is that I equate everything with food. I’m excited! Let’s get some cake! I had a terrible day. Do we have any cake? Let’s celebrate with cake! Don’t be sad, we can have some cake and you’ll feel better.

I battle this every. single. day.

I started my get-in-shape experience with WeightWatchersΒ a long time ago, and it changed my life. I didn’t know how to read a nutrition label. I didn’t know what was healthy and what wasn’t.

In middle school I would eat a whole box of Cheez-its when I got home. (Granted, we had just moved and I didn’t have any friends. I also watched the movie Liar, Liar every single day.) I didn’t see what was wrong with having two cans of Spaghettios if I was really hungry. I just didn’t get it. WeightWatchers is a great starting point to learn about what you can eat and how much of it you can eat.

I don’t use WeightWatchers anymore, but it is such an excellent way to get serious about being healthy.

Anyway, this is their latest commercial, and it’s fantastic. Does it resonate with anyone else?





  1. Yeah, I can surely relate to that commercial!! Rene and DJ would get up in the morning and ask what we were having for dinner!! If I buy creme horns(my weakness), I have to buy a four pack. Now, I automatically throw two away. Yeah, that is right!! I eat two at one sitting!! I go for my walk and come straight in and want to eat!! Not good!!
